WEATHER ALERT: After-school activities canceled Monday, April 28, 2025, due to severe weather threat

Dear Robbinsdale Area Schools families, staff, and community partners,

All after-school athletics, activities, and programs are canceled today, Monday, April 28, 2025, due to the threat of severe weather this evening—including an elevated risk of tornadoes, damaging hail, and strong winds. We are making this decision out of an abundance of caution to prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

School will continue as normal during the day. However, after-school and evening cancellations include:

• All middle and high school athletics and activities
• All Community Education and Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes
• All facility rentals and permits

Adventure Club and The Basement after-school child care programs will remain open this afternoon. However, we’re asking families to pick up students as early as possible so staff can get home safely. Both will remain open until all students are picked up.
